Job Description
We are seeking a driven and detail oriented Revenue Accountant to join our growing team. This role reports to the Revenue Manager and will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial operations related to recognizing revenue.
- Complete the revenue close process, ensuring it is completed in accordance with GAAP and company policy
- Assist with contract review and opportunity approval to maintain ASC606 compliance
- Reconcile deferred revenue to validate year over year balance changes
- Assist in the management of the ARR snowball and gross retention reporting to be distributed to CFO for board review
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation files and identify and resolve exposures
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in SaaS and revenue accounting & financial operations
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and internal controls
Preferred Qualifications:
- NetSuite experience
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- Mergers & Acquisitions experience
- Private equity background
