The Consultants Journal offers loads of articles, resources, and recommendations for consultants at all levels in their careers.

 

ManagementHelp.org is geared toward management consultants and also talks about hiring consultants. But it provides resources for consultants themselves as well. Both angles provide valuable information for consultants. Management Help offers an extensive free library on consulting topics.

 

Perhaps no other profession needs more of their personality to shine through than consulting. Knovio lets consultants do just that. Freelancing

Freelancers Union is a “union” created for independent workers. Membership to Freelancers Union is free, yet it offers a trove of resources and benefits to freelancers. Too many to even start listing here.

 

FaxZero.com is a simple online service that allows anyone to send 5 faxes for free, up to three pages (plus cover)  to anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. The cover letter, which you can create right on their site, will have the FaxZero branding on it. To send more faxes and without the branding there is a small feel. But this is terrific for those who only occasionally send out faxes.

 

Need a legal document but not the lawyer fees? Docracy.com provides free contracts and other legal documents, “socially curated by the communities that use them.” The purpose of Docracy “is to make these documents freely available for everyone, while in the process making them easier to customize and use.”

 

CreativeCommons.org is a “nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools.”  In other words, Creative Commons offers free, easy-to-use copyright licenses.

 

For those who only need to send under 30 invoices a month, InvoiceJournal.com offers free client invoicing, which includes reminders and multiple currencies.

Cancer & Careers is a unique resource offering individuals with cancer a way to manage both their careers and their treatment of cancer.
