What you’ll be doing
- The People Relations Partner handles People Management Compliance by creating and executing on alignment with all relevant US and Global pieces of legislation as it pertains to People, Payroll and Hiring Practices.
- Manage the People Life-cycle Compliance alignment process from Hiring to Onboarding, to People Record keeping and Offboarding.
- Audit Invisible People and Payroll Practices continuously to assess sustainability and check if compliance is up to date with relevant legislation as we scale.
- Develop and implement sustainability improvement plans and report to management on current status. Constantly monitor the legislative landscape and communicate changes pro-actively to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate, educate, align and train throughout Invisible on all People Relations & Sustainability issues and requirements.
- Capable of working globally with people of varied technical backgrounds and cultures.
Who we want
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Labor Legislation, HR/Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or another related field.
- At least five years’ experience in the regulatory or compliance field. Expert knowledge of Labor legislation and regulations.
- Current experience in US local, state, and federal People legislation and Compliance essential.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to US and Global People Practices and contract negotiations.
- Recent experience in Global People and People Compliance legislation required encompassing Global Hiring and Employment Practices.
- Industry-specific knowledge – tech and startups – preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the payroll function required, and payroll taxes experience a huge plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or international equivalent preferred.
Benefits
- 2023: $80k - $100k annual base
- We work 100% remotely. Our team is distributed all over the world.
- This is a Full-time Position so we expect you to be available to work 40 hours per week and be available for meetings between 10 am ET to 5 pm ET
