Offer extension is used by a wide range of people like retailers, business owners, manufactures and many more. You can target different devices to display your ads. Once your offer is set up and when your customer clicks on your ads, then Google will send your customer to a landing page and that page will display your promotional offer with your business logo and address of some nearby store. After that the customer only needs to take a printout of that offer or it will save it to Google offer account to redeem that particular offer with the help of text code or bar code. The advertiser only needs to pay when your customers click on your offer and not at the time when customers redeem it. Example: If you need to create a promotional offer for your coffee shop, make sure you are using Google Adword enhanced campaign, son that if you want to add offers then just click on ad extension and in that view offer >> offer extension >> create a new extension. Here you need to fill the form of offer extension like offer headline, redemption date, distribution date, promotion code and other details. For example you are going to add headline 20 % off on purchase of each coffee. Things to keep in mind while creating Google Offer Extension
1. Be Specific:
Keep your offer headline specific so customers come to know that the offer which is available is specific to some product or service. You don't need to create your offer headline in a general way, for example, your business name.2. Make a good deal: Create your deal/ offer in such a manner that it will create value for your customer. Make it in such a manner that the user will like to click on your offer.3. Be exclusive: It means when you are creating your offer it should be for some specific customer and not for all customers who visit your store. For example, if you are providing 30 % discount on purchase of coffee it should only be for those who have the offer code. The exclusive offer must be only for a limited period of time or some specific group of people.
4. Know where your offer is created:
You can create offer extension at two levels, one at the campaign level and another at the ad group level. The main reason for this is when you create your offer at these two places at that time it will reflect your offer in the whole campaign or ad group. So, you need to keep in mind that your offer is visible to all ads in that campaign or group and also favorable for the location where that offer appears.
5. Make it different:
You need to try a different way to describe your product or services for which you have created ads. But try to make it different from your ads as offer extension is part of ads.
