American Telepsychiatrists works with inpatient, emergency, and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Their mission is to bring psychiatric and mental health services to underserved populations. All physicians and psychiatric nurses work on a freelance basis.
American Telepsychiatrists work with County Mental Health Clinics. They started with one doctor in 2010, and now have over 200 and operate in 12 states, and they evaluate, treat, and manage over half a million patients exclusively through telemedicine every month. Their psychiatrists have training and experience (outpatient, inpatient, emergency/crisis) in general adult psychiatry, and many have specialty training in Child/Adolescent, Perinatal, Addiction, Forensic, Emergency, Consultation & Liaison, and Geriatric psychiatry.
